Tommy Gun Exhaust from 2008 Harley Davidson Fat Bob
Can anyone tell me if the 2-1-2 Tommy Gun exhaust with duel staggered mufflers off an 08 Fat Bob will fit a 99 Dyna glide. I'm pretty sure the jugs are the same but not positive. Any comments on this system, pros or cons. Gotta chance to pick one up used for around 200$ and they are pretty sweet looking. Any advice?
Yup they fit,but as pelliott6 said you will need the FB bracket, the rest of the frome engine and tranny are the same. I'll try and get a pic of the part up for you.
Thanks guys. Appreciate the advise. Currently have screaming eagle pipes on which are very loud. Rellay like the look of the tommy guns. Do you think the price is a good deal or would i be better off looking at some others?
200$ ain't bad that system is worth around 700+ at the dealer, my parts guy said it was around 800$ i'm not really sure. as for sound that 2:1:2 ,with stock mufflers sounds awesome.not loud, but distinct, and if your crankin' away it gives a sweet kind of trumpet sound I never heard anywhere else!.....I just had to go with something a little more meaty!
If you need the mounting bracket for the exhaust, I have one and I'll send it to you. Almost threw it away the other day but I'll hang onto it for awhile. PM me if you so desire.

Thanks Bro, Buddy gave me the bracket with the exhaust so i think i'm good to go. Need to pick up a couple plugs for the O2 sensor holes and some new exhaust gaskets. The flanges are not on the new pipes, i assume mine will come off if i read my manual properly. There are locking rings holding them in place. Thanks all! Nice to see so many bros are willing to help a fellow out.
