Default Your Opnion on Pipes

Hello all. First I have to say I really enjoy this forum. I spend alot of time reading old and new postings. This is my first post and was looking for your opnions. I have an 08 Superglide that is Pewter Pearl. I am not a big chrome guy and was thinking on a Big Radius 2 into 1 , Side Shots , or Big radius 2 into 2 but black in colour. Was just wondering how you think it would look.
Thanks

All three would look good on it I'm sure. I think the Side Shots look especially cool, and they are not as common as the Big Radius 2 into 2. Maybe you could ask for some folks that have a Superglide with any of those three to post up some pics of their bikes.

Strictly V&H only? Lots of other pipe vendors out there.

RSD 2 into 1 or Warheader - two baddest looking pipes out there. V&H 2 into 1 Prop pipe is nice too, but common.

I got Sideshots on my Street Bob.
IMO(my mecanic friend who worked with Harleys for 40 years, that is) the pipes should be the exact length to be good.
The sideshot pipes differs a lot and I lose a lot of torque at low revs.

not a superglide, but love the look of the sideshots...

I have to say though my V&H slipons with Big city thunder baffles sounded better...

The sideshots do have a nice growl though when you get on it.

they are only on a few weeks, though so i cant say about the finish holding up..

I had a VH Big Rad on my 07 Glide and although the neigbours were happy with it I didnt like the sound. You lose the V twin sound in favour of something that sounds like a large single + it created a flatspot on throttle response despite a mapped PC3
