Its the one U like and can afford, for Ur riding style...

Not being smart, just their is no magic, tire, oil, seat, cams, handle bars, wheels, grips, and a lot of other items,
that any one of them is the best..

from what i have learned keep the air psi just little over the recommend in the HD manual like 2 to 4psi. And it gave me about 2,500 to 3,000 more than i was getting when you keep a good eye on that regularly

and as i have learned throw that out the window when you start doing alot of two up riding as it eats up tires.

iam putting a factory dunlop on this weekend on the front of my bike will be my third and picked up a nail on my rear its at the shop now and it will be my 6th or 7th tire on the back. Bike is 2yrs old with 32,000 miles.

yeah two up eats the rear tire. I have a FXDF FB I purchased last July, it has a little over 8k miles with 2/3 of those miles two, and the rear tire needs replaced. if you like the handling of your bike now, then replace the tires with the same.

You know what they say about opinions? Yep, everyone has one! Well, here's mine.

After 2 OE rear Dunlops, I decided to try the Avon Storm in a 170 like others here have. I also changed out the front to a Avon Venom as well. All I can say is WOW!! It handles great! The tires really never acted like they were ready to let go before, but with the Avon's? Man! What a difference! Night and day for me.

Others have had great luck with the OE or the Metz. Pick one and go ride!

I've got the same exact setup as you. I absolutely LOVE the combination. Handles amazing. I'd reccomend Avon tires. BUT, I'm not to sure I'm going to get to many miles out of this rear tire, unfortunately. But I guess we'll see.
