I am looking to put some sort of sound system on my Streetbob for longer rides. I dont like wearing an Ipod with headphones because I hate not being able to hear things like sirens, horns, etc...
Anyone have anything hooked up?
Any Pics?
Suggestions?
Cant speak for everyone, but I only use 1 headphone in my left ear. Not sure which model, but the brand is skullcandy, its got an inline volume control and everything.
The nice thing about 1 ear only, you still get great sound with these head phones and you can still hear the sweet music from the pipes, along with sirens and what not.
Are you looking for something that works without a helmet? So those thin helmet speakers that velcro in your helmet won't work for you? I use a bluetooth wireless version that works fine, but you gotta use a helmet that covers your ears.
Get a hold of Joe at Powder Pro. He has some kinda of stereo in a bag thing he was doing. Think he was using a fork bag and speakers mounted at the bars?

I just ordered one btw and cant wait for the tunes!
Fire, check out motorcycletunes.com. I've been thinking the same thing and they got some 500 watt systems for under $200. Comes with speakers, amp wiring and all. Looks like a good deal compared to some of the other companies charging about double that for the same set up. Myself, I don't like having my ears plugged with music shutting out the sounds around me. I'm gonna have one someday. Cruising down the road on a sunny day listening to the Grateful Dead would put me in my happy place. Let us know what you end up with and how you like it.
