Will this mod show actual torque increase numbers on a Dyno machine, or just a seat-of-your-pants improvement?
Thanks
The only thing that would change your torque numbers would be a modification that changes the amount being produced by the motor. This mod is after that fact and essentially is changing your final drive ratio which in turn allows the individual gear ratios of your transmission to be more user friendly in the real non-EPA world.
The TMax/AT tuner will be able to adjust everything, just pricey. I have 4 of them i like it so well and and it tunes itself and lots of free maps to pick from. Oh ya, 3 of the 4 have the 30Tooth primary drive pulley installed.

I had a TMax w/AT on another (H-D) bike - didn't really work out for me - difficulties getting solid interface connection (with PC), not many tuners here in SoCal work with the TMax (the zippers maps didn't work well).
Replaced it with a PCV and a custom Dyno map - much better set up.
Like I said, this bike only has the stage 1 download - considering getting a PCV for it but not sure if it can calibrate speed. Having said that, I hope I have more (cheaper) options than a $900 tuner...
I used the "Speedo Healer". It plugs in - no splicing. However, because of the different gearing ratio you will loose the 6th gear light.
Anyway, I just got a TTS Tuner (haven't installed it yet). I will not be needing the "module" anymore - $50 and I'll mail it to you. PM me if your interested.
I read this post and another about the 30T pulley and installation, etc. I looked at most people's signatures and noticed that this mod is mostly done by Stage 1 people. I didn't see anyone who had swapped cams or had head work done. So, my question is this: My SE 255 cams shifted my power curve from stock lower improving torque. As a result I'm shifting sooner and am realizing the improvements the cam swap made in 6th gear.
Will the addition of the 30T pulley increase the low end more than I'm looking for? I don't want to end up shifting my power band so low that my highway riding suffer as I do ride a couple of 2500 mile trip a years.
Thanks for the input in this thread and thank for any help/advice.
