Purchased the detachable side plates short sissy bar, and luggage rack on Sat. Don't even get me started on the turn signal relocation kit. pain in my ***. well its all done and now i need a seat.
What's wrong with the Badlander? I like it. I'm 6' with forwards and it puts me bike nicely. Also provides plenty of room for passengers (it's got a longer passenger section than the Badlander I had on my Road King).
Plus you can find Badlanders used for about $100 - that's what I did. Chances are if you look - you'll find someone local with one. Ask someone if you can try theirs to see if you like it. My buddies all did that with me & they have them now.

It moves me about 2" forward of where my Corbin does and isn't comfortable at all. I won't use it on any ride over 30 minutes.
The sidekick is pretty comfortable and is 100% better than the Badlander. On an 03 dyna the side kick moved me back about 3" or so. C&C makes a very nice seat! I only sat on one, but you can tell it would be very nice! My brother has one on his v-rod and really likes it.
+1for the sidekick
I hated the badlander on my 2000 sporty it was like a park bench
The Corbin Gunfighter is a nice seat also
the sidekick looks great with the lines of the bike IMO
