I have a similar question. I'm about to pick up a new 09 Fatbob and have a set of stock Fatboy bars that I want to put on. I am not a drag bar guy and I think it'll look good, just haven't found any pics.

I tried that on mine and my hands were WAY too far apart. They worked good on my sporty though. You can always try them before you hook up all the cables and stuff.
I have stock lowrider bars with the stock FXDC risers. The brake line is now in an "S" shape, but the bike still stops. Since I took the picture I removed the return throttle cable just for looks.
