That would be the Softail Custom. The 10' WG no longer has the under fender brake light...
Recognizing the difference between a Dyna and a Softail might add merit to your next poll, and next time you look at the 2010 Wide Glide's brake light... do it standing up instead of bending over... THEN you'll agree it is UNDER the fender just like the old ones

Alright, I'll bite. Here's a picture I took in Rapid City. Where is this brake light UNDER the fender just like the old ones as you put it? I see a reflector and combo brake/run/turn sigs to the sides...

I was thinking that was a center light. If not I stand corrected. Thanks for being thick skinned and setting me straight. I sure as hell thought a center light was a D.O.T. requirement. Possibly not. One for Baseman1
That is actually funny.... all the more reason to call it a WG when you observe what remains as well as what changed. Its called an over-haul/face-lift. Still the same genetics. Hence the name. Late breaking word from the factory.... its the NEW Wide Glide.
Yup. Did a Harley stop being a Harley when they dumped the Shovel Head for the Evo? Or did it happen when the Pan Head was dumped for the Shovel? Or maybe it was when the Knucklehead was dumped for the Pan?

The center light is only on the HDI versions. And it is attached to the fender like the rest of the Dyna line (except the FXDF), not under it.
I have an opinion, related to the poll, that most might agree with;
Came as a shock when no '09 Wide Glide appeared
Came as a relief when they brought it back
If we agree its a Wide Glide, and disagree with its styling (which I admit was a tangent that begs to be re-thought), maybe they'll KEEP the name and listen in the same way that has kept us coming back in search of the Wide Glide in the first place. Its back.... holding my breath through 2009 paid off, I'll take another breath in the hopes it will slowly revert to a more familiar form.
Raked front end, "wide" forks, narrow front tire, forward controls... it's a Wide Glide. The only difference I can see is it doesn't have the bobtail fender.
