Any warranty left on it I would say 12K out the door with extended warranty or go with the new one. Tell the dealer same thing he will tell you on a trade mods dont do anything for the value!
Well, got a call back from the local dealer (Roadrunner HD in San Benito, Tx) and was informed that they were willing to drop the interest rate one point, and sell for 12.5 plus taxes (I had metnally conceded to 12.5 OTD).
Informed them that I had credit inquiry transferred to a dealer in San Antonio, and had worked out an OTD deal of 12.5 with 500 in accessories for an 09 Super Glide....which was the bike I was originally after.
Still wonder what if they call back and accept my offer on the 07 lowrider, I think that would be a tough call for me, but would probably stick with the 09 SG at this point.
As a follow up poll out of curiosity, what would you prefer an 07 FXDL vs. 09 FXD for about the same OTD price?
PS: Roadrunner HD's salesman was pretty straight up, what led to the sour ending was the Finance Manager (by far the least customer friendly and least informed Finance Manager I have ever met....cars, motorcycles, etc....)

Spoke to local dealer today, we smoothed out the rough edges and got to talking about stuff other than bikes.....in the end, it seems like we may have worked out a deal for a new (rather than old) lowrider that would make us both happy. Waiting for his call to confirm and we're good to go te take possession of a lowrider tomorrow!
Otherwise, will pick up a superglide probably next weekend.
We'll see, we'll see.
Still don't like finance manager, but sales manager and salesman have been stand up with me so far.
