Check out my new Air Cleaner
OK; I know its been done before but this time it's mine so it's cool - I had the SE stage 1 AC installed when I bought the bike....it was the "teardrop" shaped one for the 08...I really didn't like it and wanted the round one. I'm a bit cheap so I didn't want to drop the dough on the SE kit so here's what I did.
Bought the round SE breather plate separately (for 07 and ealier twincams but fits all of em) for about $30 from the dealer. bought a K&N style Zippers air cleaner ($25) and the HD skull air cleaner insert and used it as a cover ($30).....whole thing cost less than the SE kit that comes with the SE filter and no cover. I re-used all the hardware from the 08 kit I took off; worked perfect.\\

its awesome.....and I'm not saying that just cuz I bought it....I've had Lepera bare bones and Corbins before and this is by far the most comfortable lo profile solo seat I've ridden/owned. I just got back from a 2,000 km trip on it and I was totally ready to keep going....buddy on his road king was the one who wanted to stop...

That is a great idea, thanks man !!!! did you have to do a remap for it all to work? i have vance and hines slip ons and don't have the cash yet for a pc5 but i do want a new air cleaner...

yup; had the stage 1 flash done when I originally had the SE air cleaner intalled.....don't think I need to do anything else just for the AC change
