looks good... if your going blackout i'd also replace the upper belt guard and rocker boxes. just changed my rocker boxes and it really changes the look of the engine.

Looking good. I would definitely recommend painting the 2 screws in the consol and painting the trim ring on the speedo. Also, the belt guard. Looking good!

Can you paint the lower forks without disassembly other than taking the front wheel off?

yeah its pretty easy just take the wheel and fender off there is a couple of good write ups on here just do a search
