Yup, got a new look for my ride. Still got some things that I'm waiting for shipping on to put on.. but I couldn't wait to post the pictures. Also mid controls are going back on tomorrow (hopefully I won't run into any problems..)
Anyway.. here ya go! Bash away!
This riding position is SO much more aggressive and I LOOOOOOOOOVE it! I was doing 90 MPH on I-95 yesterday and didn't even realize it. I don't feel like a parachute anymore with the apes! hahaha its so crazy. Lotta lotta fun I tell ya!
Whoa... weird. I still love your overall bike dude, you know that, but that will take some getting used to. Any discomfort from the tank?
PS - I would drop the mirrors below the bars.
I would put the mirror under the bars, but unfortunately, they BARELY make contact with the bars turned in all the way.. so I can' have that.. UNLESS I flip them under on the right side! Hmmm... bars never get turned in all the way on the right side, so that may work!
Comfort? Well.. with my feet on the mid control pegs it feels AWESOME. But I can't shift gears just on the pegs since the controls arent there. But with the forwards, its very uncomfortable. I'm switching them out tomorrow so it will be good.
Forgot to mention.. that's a new seat by the way from Corbin. Got a damn good deal from a forum member! VERY VERY happy with it.

Adrian - i like the look - i need to post a pic of mine - i decided to go back to drag bars (actually renthal mx bars) and mids to - and i loive it - way more aggressive riding postion - way better lane splitting - though your bars look a lil wide for that???
for the mirror - I had the same prob with it under the bar hitting the tank, but I bent the mirror post up and 'tucked' it closer to the handlebar and works great
Now you need one a 1/4 fairing sprayed flat black to complete the look.
+1 the fairing would help my brain a little bit.
I've got one of them on the way as well! It was backordered though unfortunately.. so I won't see that for at least a couple more weeks!
Are those flat track style bars mounted flat? I would have mounted them upright but it ain't my bike.
The bars are from Robert at www.elswickcycles.com - They are forward swept drag bars. Forward swept for a little extra tank clearance when the bars are turned. Awesome bars and very well made. I'd HIGHLY suggest that guy for custom bars.
