Does anyone out there have any idea if someone has 6 gallon tanks for my 08 dyna low rider . When traveling i need that one extra gallon of gas to get you that little bit further .
Take a look at the FatBob or FXDC. They have a 5.0 gal tank..... else a bagger tank.... or carry an extra gallon somewhere.... but a well tuned bike should get just over 200 miles anyway.... you have a longer stretch to cover?

I've not heard of a 6 gallon tank replacement. You'd probably have to get one made or perhaps a 6 gallon tank from a touring model could be modified to fit but it would be expensive.
Other people on here may know different.
My mate has just bought a new KTM with hard bags that are double skinned and you can fill the gap with water or fuel. I don't know how much they hold but it's an interesting idea. It also has two separate tanks so you can fill one with water. He uses both of his for fuel so he finds it a pain to fill two tanks separately.
only thing is the wide glide tank 5.3 or 5.4 gallons forgot which one, but compared to the reg dyna tanks at 4.9 gallons you gain about a half gallon. that is my winter mod already in the works. jackyl

Several years ago there was a guy that advertised on the IntruderAlert forum that made tanks and I believe he made them also for the HD's they were anywhere from 5-8 gal tanks, worth a try.
i went to a 6 gallon tank. it only cost me 15 grand. lol, i bought a road glide. 6 gal tank at 48 mpg. do the math. the smaller tank on my lowrider is fine. i dont think having to gas up every 150 miles is a problem. good luck with the project and let us know how it turns out.
