Joe, I know it's easy for me to say, since it's not MY money.....but if you have her apart, then NOW is the time to put her back together right. It sounds as though that is what you're doing. A Baker IPB is the best. then again, I agree with mud....Baker ANYTHING is the best.....expensive, but they make the best tranny stuff on the market.

I know my bike is an '05, but I can tell you that the SE pressure plate is about the best 30 bucks you can spend. Instead of the 30T sprocket, I went with the SE Primary gear down chain and gears set. I love the torque, but I do spin the engine a tad bit tighter on the highway. Since you have the 6 speed, I'd imagine it's not a issue.

I have what's called "TB125" auto tensioner, and it works good.

P.S. leave the primary krinkle.....gloss would look out of place, IMHO.

How's the wife doin'?

~Joe

Default 40063-05A instructions sheet

The 40063-05a has the new tensioner used in 39929-06a, along with a bracket that bolts up to the inner primary. Really nice setup. just make sure its the 05a. Theres a lot of the original upgrades, 40063-05 out there, that are being pawned off as the new kit, and they aint.

Thanks Mud for your research in this. It saved a couple of friends a lot of hate and discontent.

Nope. Here until EARLY December.

Air Force has made the physical requirements a tad bit harder.....now that I'm past 40.....it's getting to be a little work!

Are you doing the SE pressure plate?
