Default Need Your Opinions - Advice

So I haven't ever posted a pic of my bike yet, and wanted to get some opinions. I have 07 SB and I love it. Bought her new on Sept 13 2007.. Lol I remember that date better than some of my family member's birthdays. Anyway, I have just done some very small things to her & need some advice on what you think I should be looking at doing - I am making this bike mine slowly, but would be interested in other's ideas.
I don't have deep pockets and have utilized every thread on do it yourself, at least the things I've liked. It just seems to be taking a loooong time and more $$ than I have to do what I want.

Anyway, here's what I've changed from stock:
changed all pegs, break pad, clutch pad
new grips
chrome levers
added passenger pegs, 2 up seat, sissy bar, etc
engine guard
derby cover
added a bottle opener on electrical cover (it rocks)
added a chrome outline around console

I would like to paint the engine fins & shock springs black I think. And maybe the spokes - I hate to clean them.

I like the black & chrome mix - Just lookin for some opinions and some ideas about what I might do next

Attached pics from phone so not sure of the quality.
J.

Looks nice but since you asked my opinion I'd say your next move should be to remove that huge engine guard and the sissy bar looks kinda tall. Other than that I like it.

The thing I hate cleaning on my 07 Street Bob is the aluminum, especially polishing the rocker boxes, I would love to have them black powdercoated so maybe that's an idea for you.

My suggestion. Don't do anything this year. Keep looking on the forum and on the net for pics of dynas you like. Adapt your vision to what you like. I incorportated several bikes into my bike and I'm still not finished yet. Several areas to focus on that makes a dyna yours:
Wheels...air cleaner...controls...sissybar...seat...handle bars...ride height...and on and on. At the end of the day you'll be happier if it's your vision. Keep looking and save pics you like and then analyze what about that is attractive to you.Mine looks like this:

+1, look around and decide where you want to go with your bike. I can't tell you how much I've spent adding things without a vision or ignoring what I really liked just cause there was a fad going on. It literally pays off to sticking to your own taste and vision...

Ironic, but this bike sports my favorite flame job, it was my Wallpaper for sometime. I plan to one day do the same to my bike!

I think your bike looks real good.

As for some suggestions, maybe remove the reflectors. That won't cost you a nickle. If your looking to improve the appearance you could lose the crash bars and maybe even sell them for a few bucks. They do come in handy protecting the bike if you drop it though.

I think I would save up my $ and do a stage one and wake up the motor a bit.

The bike looks great as is. If you're looking to customize it though, there are many different directions you could go. There are tons of sweet Street Bobs here on this forum. Looking at them should give you some ideas.

Well, I heard you say that you want to paint something black because you hate having to clean it as it is...

Hate to tell you this, but the black on my bike is the most difficult thing to clean...
and if I were really worried about it I would have to clean it after every ride. (I'm not)
I'd rather spend my time with my bike on the road than in the driveway.

I don't know if I am digging the flowers on the front of the bike. Just my opinion.

I would save up a few dollars and change out your turn signal lenses. This was my first thing I changed because it just needed it.

Smoked Turn Signal Lens Kit - Bullet Lens

Add a unique touch to your bike. These Turn Signal Lens Kits replace the amber lenses for a clean front and rear appearance. Available in clear or smoked versions, the kit includes 4 lenses and 4 amber bulbs. Meets DOT requirements.
