Front is getting Ricors and keeping stock springs. I'll decide after a few hundred miles if I want to do springs. My dilemma is Works or YSS in the rear. I'd love Ohlins or Penske, but I'll have to hit the lotto for those to be an option!
Things I like about Works Street Trackers:
Made in the USA
ARS
dual or triple rate springs
Things I like about YSS G 302 TRCL:
$$$
compression adj
rebound adj
ride heigth adj
Storz now sells them i.e. reputable company
I think they are priced about the same so now it's just a matter of deciding on features. Any input on these two manufactures of rear shocks is appreciated.
Please do not try and sway me towards anything from Progessive as I DO NOT WANT THEM!
Shocks have been getting a lot of cover in the Dyna and Touring forums. I am thinking of replacing my dresser shocks and going to Ohlins.
HDF sponsor Motorcycle Metal sells Ohlins, built to your requirements, and offers a decent discount, from what I can find.
Take a look at their website, also search this forum for Ohlins and see what has been going on. Debate covers other brands. Howard of MM writes on here as FastHarley.
I have progressive 412's that are "okay" in the rear even riding dbl I dont bottom, but my stock front forks are wayyyy to soft. I am gonna change to a heavier fork oil soon now that its getting colder here in maine riding days are fewer in between.

I put the Progressive springs in my front forks with the stock weight oil and they made a big difference the amount of front end dive during braking was drastically reduced.
