ya mine broke off rolling down a outer road, almost hit my father in law. i just drilled a new hole a ground the mounting tab down until it fit like i wanted. hopefully it will stay, this winter i am gonna try and rubber mount one.

May I suggest a robust, high quality mount. The beauty of this mount is that it can get rotated from Horizontal to Vertical without needing tools...just give her a twist. If you do a search on this forum, you will see we have many installations and nothing but rave reviews and 100% customer satisfaction! The Roto-Plate comes in Chrome, Flat or Gloss Powder Coat, with or without a Brake Light. It can be mounted in various places, for a Dyna it can go off the lower shock mount or rear axle. Our Axle kits will fit all Dyna's including the new style 24mm Axle nut and the older style 5/8" cross-cut nut.

Have a look at Fab Kevin's stuff. Tough as nails and he'll make you anything you want for about $80 (without light). I've have good luck with stuff from him plus he stands behind everything he builds/sells
