Default 90° super-sucker intake
Has anyone tried one of these:

I'm not sure if this is a Wimmer product or not. I don't see it on the Wimmer site (but I confess I find the Wimmer site a bit confusing).

I'm thinking of putting some sort of velocity stack or similar intake on my '06 Dyna, and this one looks pretty cool.

Yes, it's a bit pricey. I'm assuming I could get one for a little less. I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with them.

IMO this intake looks nice but might only have a screen for a filter.If you put alot of miles on your bike your gonna want a better filter than that.

Yeah, I hear ya. I was thinking some sort of mesh screen might be ok, with a sock to go over it for rainy or dusty conditions. It might be a bit much, tho. But it sure does look cool!

I just bought a copy of the Wimmer. A lil more than half the cost. Nice looking but didn't come with any instructions and to be honest, I'm not sure where the several different spacers go. It'll be a trial and error install.

What ya mean "without a filter'? The one I have does in fact have a filter on it.

I was referring to the link in Just-a-Guy's post about the 90 degree super sucker. (First post in this thread). That seems to have a screen, not a filter.
