I also brought a v rod head light visor mounts just like oem you have to paint to match and kuryakin grim reper mirrors and man it changed the whole look of my glide, bad ***

Wonder where that console is from? That would be great if you just wanted to get the speedo off the bars. Wouldn't have to replace the whole tank? Anyone know what model that is from? That would take my project in a whole different direction.

Well Taddeoeg hasn't been on the forum since June of last year so he may not be quick to respond to this 6 year old thread. If you go to ebay they have tons of consoles on there to look through.

Thanks, just noticed that (after you told me). Think I'll try a new thread with that pic, see if anyone knows where that console came from.

I also built a little sub harness from the stock FXD harness so everything plugs and plays without butchering the stock harness.

Also took it one step further and bolted on a new 07 front end from a fxdb - giving me the 49mm forks. we had a month of rain here in NY so I had some fun with the wrenches and the soldering iron.

Here's a couple of pics. Let me know if you need any more info.
How hard is it to Do? How long did it take? I have a 2000 superglide and I found a 2002.
