I'm the same height and body shape. 6'3", 6' of it in the legs. Well ... close enough, anyway. The WG was the ONLY Harley frame I fit on when I bought my bike, and I'd rather die than lose this scooter. There is nothing (material) on this planet that gives me the rush, or LOVE of a machine as I receive just looking at this bike, let alone riding it. I truley love guitars and have some excellent gits, but they're all gone before this bike leaves me. I love shooting and have some excellent firearms with a deep personal history - but they're gone before the bike goes. No material item I own means more to me than my bike. I just hope my grandson enjoys it as much as I do.

I got my first Harley Davidson back in the Spring, which is a 05 Wide Glide. I actually went into the dealer looking to buy a sporster! I am very glad the salesmandid everything but tell me not to buy the sporster. He said that they never run out ofsporsters because in a couple of months they come back for a trade.I had only ridden a Harley once in my 43 years, but hadalways had admirations for the American Icon. I love very much my Harley Davidson Wide Glide!!

Definitely appreciate the comments you all have put up here, and I love all the pics. I just love the look and feel of these bikes. NOTHING else on the market comes close to the W.G. . This bike is tough personified !

These are Santee Lake Pipes. They say they are for softails but you just have to modify the bracket a little to mount them.
