Got my new WG ordered today in midnight pearl and silver flame. after delivery and stage one mod I should have it early april. Will upload picture when I get it. Cant wait!
Enjoy, I'm loving mine! The color is pretty awesome.
We're looking at one for my wife but she doesn't want black or flames. I find it strange that if you want something other than black, you're stuck with flames on the tank.
I've always wanted a Wide Glide, way before they made the changes to them, and for me the bike would have had flames on it anyways so it was a big plus to already have them. Also, all the changes they made to them were ones I would have made to the bike as well... except the sissy bar.
I peeled my reflectors off today while I was cleaning it up from yesterday. I think next I'm gonna change up my license plate to sit vertical instead of horizontal, and then polish up my fork sliders really nice and shiny. I also plan on adding better brake calipers and some sort of tuner.

I am in the same boat as you. As you can see from the sig pic of my Sportster, I'm big on flames. Hell, even my car has flames on it. So it was a big plus for me to have the bike already have them from the factory. (And I loved the way the Sedona Orange looks in the sun.)
As for my fork lowers I wound up getting mine chromed when I had to change the fork oil at 30k. Figured if they had to come apart anyway...They look so much better like this than the stock look and polishing up your stockers will look great.
here is my scoot as she sits currently. i have a few more things i want to get done before the weather starts to get better. i have waiting to be installed a set of 6'' rocket bobs zombi bars, new rsd risers, liscense plate relocation, and plan on powdering the tins satin black.

I believe in 2010 or 2011 they had a WG in red? Maybe find one of those. Otherwise, buy the black and have the tins painted to the color of her choosing.
