Shepherd50 your bike is looking sick as well. Is that a Harley headlight or an adjurl or headwinds? I have been wondering if the Harley one has the connectors for ease in wiring it up. I would think so, but you never can be sure...

bike looks great! did you hand polish the lower fork legs? if so what was your process? fine rubbing compound? and did you remove the front wheel? i polished a bunch of parts on my last bike and did it by hand, came out great, but tedious on older parts. since my bike is new now i would imagine polishing the lower legs wouldn't be too bad.

Thanks everyone. I did it by hand. I took the fender off but left the wheel on and masked over the chrome covers. I wet sanded with 600 grit till all of the machine marks were gone, then 800, 1000, and 2000 grit. After that I used 0000 steel wool and metal polish. After that I buffed it all up with a soft rag and reinstalled the fender. I need to hit up the left side again with 2000 grit and polish once more I think.
