The sort of 2 into 1 that works best are those they fit on Buells. It is their frankly ugly exhaust that helped Buell get serious power increases out of the Sportster motors. Any other variety is a compromise.
A stock XB12 gives about 100 HP, so with a similar setup a TC96 could give around 130HP. That doesn't happen, so go with what you like the look of!
According to the folks at V&H customer service, their Power Chamber does just that. Not exactly 2-1 performance but damn close, so find a set of their pipes with the "PC" logo and its as close as you'll get from V&H. I went with the Sideshots which have the PC.
