Any one have any info on the 2007 scoots. A guy I work with called his wife and she told him she just put 10G's on an 07 for him supposed to be in for pick up in two weeks. all the dealer could tell her is that the color is black cherry and pewter. He said that they might be going to 200mm rear tire and maybe going with a bigger engine but it is all rumor right now.
I would expect some internet leaks soon. At Sturgis, they have demo rides on some of the coming new year models, and demo rides on some of the current year models. They display some of the coming years new models in the convention center the entire second week of August during the Sturgis event.
This is when I first saw the FXDI35 and decided to get first Harley.
I'm interested as I hpe they go back to standard bar bends on at leat one of the 07 Dynas so I can lose the buckhorns on my bike.
I don't want to sound like an **** or squash your post, but there have been several threads about 2007 model rumors. I'm sure if you did a quick search you could get all the rumors you want.
Some of the most poular are
Several new colors(of course)
6 speed trans. in all models
discontinuing the sporty line
no more springers
etc.
etc.
etc.
Triton.fisherz,
you are right there have been posts on rumors but we are about 6 days away from when they are supposed to be put on the web site and I thought someone might have found something new. As posts get old people don't go back to find them to post something new in them. Old posts are great for finding info about a mod or a bike all ready out. But something like rumors on new products old post are a horrible way to find new info.
No nerve stuck man and I didn't take it as you being a dick. I just was giving my two cents on why I started a new post instead of reading old ones. As for the general public forums I stay out of them for the most part. I prefer to talk to dyna guys since that is what I ride. I even have my bookmark directly to the dyna forum. I will go take a look and see what they are saying.
I was at my dealer yesterday... they told me some show is coming upnext week..?? and the 2007's should be brought out shortly after... also I guess the show will finally have more accessories made just for the '06 models...
I heard from my dealer yesterday that the new 2007 Harleys should be on the website either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday afternoon. Something about showing up online right after the show.
