thoughts about performance machine and your 04. PM only sells brake kits for the 04-05 in chrome for the rear. If you want black or contrast cut, you can not match em. Hawg halters sells their brakes about 100 bucks cheaper, are easily as good, and you can go with black or chrome for both front and rear. Either way, you will improve your braking tremendously with the new calipers.

I'm running a 6 piston PM on front of my SB and really like it. Lyndall makes replacement pads, too. This caliper is an easy direct bolt on without any grief. They are pricey but you can find deals, if you consider $350 a deal on a single caliper.

I put hawg halters on my 04 deuce and they were a big improvement over stock. Another thing that made them better was putting braided lines on it.I put the calipers on then about a month later put the braided lines on and it stopped on the dime.

Yea, Im planning to set up my rear with one of his dual caliper bracket kits after I set my front end up with dual discs - I am a proponent of the sport bike setups and pads are very easily found
