I have just finished installing a TRUE-TRACK stabilizer [forum supporter] to my RoadKing and it is an amazing devise. My RoadKing is new and handled quite well but there were times I felt a slight flex in hard corners as can be expected with a rubber mount, this product has cured all sideways movement of the swingarm. The DYNA has the same set up with the rubber mount so I have ordered a TRUE-TRACK to install on Lyndell's StreetBob. Has anyone tried this mod to their DYNA. It also reduced the vibration at idle on my RK as it only allows engine movement front and rear but not sideways. Her StreetBob is a smooth bike already so hope it will make it better again.
I have talked to someone at our local HOG meeting. He had the stabalizers installed on his and his wife's bike. He loves the performance. He said it was about $400 for thr kits each.
Is is hard or what is the procedure for aligning the stabilizers.
Are you aligning the fron wheel to the rear wheel?????
or the rear wheel to the chasis????
I am seriously looking at the sputhe model $338.00 is a lot of money so I wanted to know if it is within my skill level.
I have changed front motor mount before so I don't think the mounting will be the problem...it's the aligning I'm concerned with.
I don't think the dealer would put on aftermarket parts???
Looks like the sputhe is a combination of the true-track rear part plus the extra flex eliminator at the front. This is not a new problem as I have had the same issues with Norton Commanardo in 1970. I believe the fix is to join the swingarm to the frame that way the rear tire will stay in the same alignment as the front.
Yes the sputhe will be a better product but is it necessary at the front.
As I said the true-track is great on my RoadKing and I have ordered one for the Dyna,I guess if I felt it was needed the front you could just purchase the sputhe front and add it to the true-track rear.

Looks like the sputhe is right in plain sight and replaces the actual motor mounts....did I see this correctly?
The True track looks like it is completely hidden from view under the rear crossmember. I'd spend the couple extra dollars to get a hidden solution.
