Lowrider - under construction...opinions/suggestions?
It's a '98 Lowrider and I bought her bone stock about a year ago. I've been blackin her out with bedliner and grill paint. I put on the quarter fairing and crash bars. I've been runnin bags bolted on too.
yeah, the tins are next on my list...i have a set off an '02 that I'm gonna use...I'm thinking of bobbing th front fender into almost non existence (only keeping it cause it rains alot in Hawaii) and bobbing the rear something similar to the Street Bob without copying it.
Paint ideas are: Black with gunmetal scallops, black with gunmetal racing stripe, gunmetal with WWII airplane shark mouth or gunmetal with pinup girls on each side.
Any ideas for painting the wheels without making her unrideable for more than a week? I think the triple tree's may be my next venture with the bedliner.
i got the fairing out of the HD catalog and it mounts using the bolts on the headlamp hood. It has its own bracket that the fairing then mounts to. About a 15 minute job. Cost about 120 (raw, no paint) in Hawaii, so cheaper some other places probably. Then I had it custom upholstered with the logo from my Dads HD shop.
i just put some new pics of my ride on my avatar and signature, this is her with the bags on...i like the look without the bags too, but using it for work everyday...the function outweighs the style...plus i think these particular ones look good with the lines of the bike
