evo cyl head repair suggestions?

evo cyl head repair suggestions?
Yesterday a plug vibrated lose (so I thought) and I was able to get the plug back in and ride home. Happened again today... tried to put it back and found the head's stripped.
37k miles evo. not interested in hard-core performance mods but figure I should consider your valued opinions on the best course of action to get her runing real good without effectiing reliability. Should I considere some SE heads? stock exchange heads? something else? Or just helicoil it and go? have leaking jug gaskets so will pull and fix those too.
mild cam, SE 2-1 exhaust, K&N.

I'd look on ebay first for some used ones or old take offs. If no luck then get a SE set. What the heck? If you are taking it down to the jugs then why not?
