much easier if you loosen your trees and slide your fork up a inch or so. no need to cut or open anything. serves the same purpaose and you dont loose you ride quality. jackyl

Did you read any of this thread? lol He can't slide his tubes up, he has no clearance underneath his bars. Besides, it looks tacky IMO.

Her Street Bob has the intgrated risers/top tree. The top tree could be swapped with an FXD or FXDC (I'm pretty sure) tree & risers...
then the tubes could be slide up the trees.
This maybe equal to, or even... less than, the cost of rebuilding/modifing the fork tubes.

I don't think it looks 'tacky' on my bike.

No, it doesn't look tacky on your bike. I think it looks tacky when people slide too much up through the trees. (2"+) It's barely noticeable on yours.

Guys, thanks for all of your input. I want to lower the front because I have already lowered the back. At freeway speeds I feel the front is "light" & I want to keep the same aerodynamics of the stock stance. I will just go with the drop-ins when I get the chance...thanks again.

definitely get the progressive drop ins. super easy to install. just watch the video on their website. cheap too, about $120. nice bike!
