Mounting it to the clamp shouldn't be a problem it is the wiring that I am concerned about,

since my o6 doesn't have a plug in the wiring harness.

You won't need to be concerned about pin for ECU
if you are using the kit.

It is really pretty straightforward.

Same kit I used. No big deal. Wiring is included. Slight modification.....

I just finished installing the new tach and 6 1/2 " risers.
Everything just plugged in and worked fine.
I did have to extend the included harness.
I extended it 9" but should have done 10 or 11"
I will work on pics shortly

hell hound,where did the wiring for the new tach plug in? Harness or speedo? You didn't have to alter any pins? Thanks

The new wiring pluged directly into the main wiring harness in the frame neck. The only thing I altered was the lenght of the wires included in the kit.
