I am getting ready to put my scooter back together, I have 2" nash slugger risers and 16" nash pudgy gimps, I am try to decide if all polyurethane bushings are created equal? I been cruzin ebay and other sites and these are what i have settled on, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FITS-...Q5fAccessories
unless I hear something bad I am going to order tonight.......
I put the HD ones on my WG and it definitely stiffen up the bars seem to get a lot more vibrations though. But the cornering feels more solid because the bars are not moving around so much. Helps with a passenger who keeps sliding forward into you during those quick stops that we need to do regularly because the cages are not paying attention.
thats what i been told but with my 14" apes on, there was alot of movement prolly 1/2 to 3/4 of a inch. so i can only imagine what it will be like with a extra 2 inches(thats what she said!!!).
Get the polys or solid mounts. I've got polys w short risers and 18" bars. I dont notice any vibration, possibly because the length of the bars. I can see shorter bars buzzing more.
Poly bushings..... if you get too much vibration later, you can always add weight to the ends of your bars... changes the mass and therefore the 'resonant' frequency at which the bars will vibrate.
sweet I ordered last night, i am only waiting on a few more things and i can start the go back together phase. I am fired up about this, after this the bike will look as I want, next for the motor...........than thanks guys.
