Hi I been looking at all the great bikes on this forum and I have noticed that quite a few "HARLEYS" don't have TANK EMBLEMS . I know its a personal taste thing but I thought it was a big part of owning one (show the world). my question to everyone is, do you think that Harley's should have tank emblems?... I know I own two Harleys, and have for a lot of years. Don't really give a rats a$$ if anyone sees that I own one or not. I think tank badges are like the decals on the back of a new car. Me thinks it looks better without. Some do, some don't. Personal choice.
I don't care for the look of tanks with no badges. Motorcycles just seem right with the badges on the tanks and when they are missing it reminds me of when people take the badges off the Jap bikes so they can pretend they aren't Jap bikes.

Sorry, but if someone can't tell what kind of bike their looking at, who cares? But, that's just my opinion.
I agree with ED some of the retro badges are cool but like my Daddy always said, if it's a Harley, they'll hear it way before they see the Harley Logo...
