Just for your information I bought an 07 Lowrider Black Pearl, V&H Short Shots, K&N air cleaner, and Dealer download. Quick detatch sissy bar and backrest, rear turn signal kit on back fender and amber lens. Has 5000 mi. on it and except for the little wear on the tires looked brand new and the sales said that was the way the bike came trailered in to the store. Got the bike from a very nice dealer here in Ohio for 11,999. Gave my wife and I the full great Harley treatment just like we bought a brand new bike from them. Shirts and stuff and 35% discount on what ever we wanted in the store. And of course we took advantage of that I can tell you.
Absolutely go with the 07.... especially with the V&H pipes already installed on it. Husband had to replace a tank on his bike....new one ran $995.00 ( limited edition color from the factory) NOT including installation. You dont want to mess around with a damaged bike, when you can get a newer one, with a bigger engine & better pipes. Is the 06 fuel injected like the 07 is?? Something else to consider as well.
It was about comfort for me. I have tested many models and while the street & fat bobs were generally comfortable height-wise, it was an overall feel I was looking for. I wanted it to feel like buttah when I was on it, and the low rider gave me that feel, hands down. I'm not totally, completely decided yet, but I'm pretty damn sure leaning the '07 route.
People that don't own or ride a Low Rider just don't get it. You are way ahead of that group.

i agree. the lowrider has a totally different feel. i dont know why everyone is trying to talk you into a street bob. 06 was the first year of the 6 speed and had some issues with the IPB. unless $ is an issue, go for the 07, and get the best deal you can. after that------just ride!!!!
There is nothing wrong with buying a damaged bike if you have the know how to repair it properly. The biggest problem is guys buy a bike with damage trying to save a buck and then find out they can not do the repairs themself and end up having to pay for the repairs ending up costing more to them than a non damaged one would have cost.
With the bikes you have mentioned I think the price is too high for the time of year, model, and economy. Also with buying a damaged bike be careful that the title is not branded too!
