Hey Don, did you have to purchase the "mainshaft sprocket wrench" and the "primary drive locking bar" to do the job? What kind of troubles can a person expect to encounter? TIPS? I want to do this, the sprocket is the cheap part, but the tools will run me close to what I'd spend on a 103 kit...

The only time I look at the speedo is when I see a cop, and it's too late by the time I see him if he's got his radar gun on!

How does putting the 30T sproket affect fuel milage, not penny pinching ,but I already have one gas guzzling vehicle.

Does the 30T Raise the cruising RPM's or Lower them.

The 30 tooth will raise the cruising RPM, but should get it to where 6th gear is more usable (not lugging the engine) and in turn improve or at least not hurting your fuel milage.

The 06 comes stock with a 68 tooth on the rear.I believe they changed to a 70 in 07. I have wheels, rotors and pulley from an 07 FXDSE which is how I got a 70 on my 06. Same wheels as Dope Man has. Sorry for the late reply....been out of town for 2 days.

Hey Don, you still following this post, I'm curious on this question myself, my OCD syndrome is twitching and I'm thinking of ripping my primary back open and do the 30T, but I'm curious if I got to have both of these tools, I think I will have to get the sprocket wrench but the locking bar, what did you do?
Thanks man.....
