Who makes the best relocation kit for the front on an 09 streetbob definatly wont use that stupid looking HD kit any suggestions or pictures of them installed
Drag Specialties makes a couple good kits. One mounts to the upper or lower triple tree with the curved mount to keep them in close. I used this set on my 1998 Sportster with 39MM tubes and it worked out great. Not sure they have it for the 49MM forks thought.
The other is a stud that replaces the triple tree bolt and has a pivot, ball and socket sorta set up that will work on hte 49MM forks and your factory lights.
I had the guys do it while it was in for a service and they used a kit listed on my sheet as
39 & 41MM Fork Bull at $28.99.
They are tucked in close and solid, far better than the clamp on stuff I had tryied in the past.
I did this, gets them off the front end entirely. Really cleans up the front end, plus it looks pretty badass tucked under the forwards. If you dont have forwards, you can still mount it up to forward mounting holes on the frame.
I also used the Drag Specialties mounts. They do stay close to the forks. Got them from Dennis Kirk for $19.99, and they make them for 49mm. Don't have any pics but you can enlarge the parts in the listing.
These are the same ones I used. Only thing about these though, the bolts it came with didnt match the thread of my stock signals. Had to buy new bolts. Now Im thinking about taking em off the forks all together and mounting them somewhere else.
