Default Lowering blocks for '10 WG?

Ok I searched and couldn't find much. I keep seeing lowering blocks mentioned. Can someone give me a general synopsis of these things and if they'll work for my '10 WG. From the sound of it, they shouldn't affect the ride too terribly and I really only want it dropped about an inch anyway.

burly makes some, check ebay or drag specialties catalog for options. Will make the shocks a little more soft due to the more extreme angle the shocks end up in. Usually one would just increase the preload 1 notch firmer to compensate.

Thanks for the reply. I'm new to bikes in general but familiar with wrenching on my cars and whatnot.
I'll see what I can find but I'm curious what the product and end result would look like.

Probably, but I think it'd look even better with the wheel tucked up in the fender just a little more.

I use the Tamarack blocks. They work great and are and easy install. I needed 4 extra washers to have decent clearance to keep the shock from hitting. Other than that they worked great.
