can anyone help

I have a 2001 with the factory security system. I bought the HD siren that is supposed to plug in to the original system but the directions are not very helpful. Does anyone have pix or detailed knowledge of where it plugs in?

Have you looked behind the fuse panel located behind the electrical cover on the left side of the bike? I thought I saw a plug by the TSSM (turn signal security module) in that area on my 01.

will take a look there thanks. looked in the service manual and it mentions that but doesn't really show where it is located.

Here's a link to the instructions sheet for the security system smart siren kit II p/n 68318-06A

It has some info on the siren connector (under the seat inbetween the battery and the fuse panel) and some diagrams...I hope this will help you out on this one!

Thank you fxd. Those instructions almost same as the ones I have except that 1 wire that is shaded. They were all the same color on my copy.
I somehow knew that you would be able to help.
