I could use a picture on where to
properly mount and route the wires for the sending unit for the security system. I ordered my bike without ABS but wanted security so I had to by it after delivery. No Problem, I waited two months for my local dealer two tell me It was on national Back Order. I picked up the system myself when I was in Enterpize ,Alabama recently on business and stopped by the Harley dealer at a dealer they had what I needed on hand, paid full price $265.00 (ouch). I'm back in the north country of New York now. It Looks easy enough to install. The forum has been great on information on how to program it. I need a couple of pictures to show where the wire harness routes for the sending unit (for the pongs). And where does the sender mount?
Thanks in advance.
I'll do a you tube vid on this if I get it right. Their is a good one already for adding the siren and remote kit.
the security alarm unit will plug into a wire that is already installed and is located right below the fuse box. The plug is inserted into a dummy slot until the alarm unit is installed. The unit 'clips' into a slot already provided immediately left of the fuse box. The wire for the pager is about 14" long and just has to be run along the frame just under the seat and protected by the velrco provided. No other wiring is required with the HD alarm
The alarm plugs into a connector behind the left side cover, and also has a place to hold the alarm. The Turn Signal Security Module (TSSM) will replace the current Turn Signal Module that is on the bike.
