Just thinking.... I have been all over the place the past 6 months considered selling the Wide Glide for a bagger . Then I changed my mind , the changed it again , etc. But when It comes down to it....I really am not turned on by much anything else on the market. At least not as much as a Dyna . So I just figured I'd give the best line of motorcycles a shout out !
I hear ya on that! Thats were I'm at right now. I've been thinking about a bagger for some time now, and I'm leaning towards a '10 street glide. The dynas paid off so it's not going anywhere, but the idea of getting out for some long distance rides is whats pushing me in the bagger direction. I'm one for leaving the dyna the way it is, no bags, no windshield, no 2-up seat. So that too is helping me look into a different direction also. Plus the gf loved the comfort of the street glide when we were out on one. Don't get me wrong, the dyna is a awesome bike, but when you get serious about touring, I think it's time to go bagger.
True, my Dyna rules. I will put on a sissy bar and attach my Kelty if i do some traveling this summer, fits my needs perfectly. Baggers are nice, just not my cup of Pennyroyal...
Ok, i have to put my 2 cents in on this. It may not be as valuable as others, but its my opinion. I just traded my bagger for the 2010 Wide Glide. Now dont get me wrong my bagger was a 2008 Vulcan Nomad, so im not comparing it to the Street Glide. But on my comparison, i would rather have my Dyna anyday. Its smoother, more power, and to me, more comfortable. Now the nomad was awesome for 2-up trips, but now my wife rides her own Dyna Streeb Bob so that isnt the issue. For all in all performance, handling, cant beat the dyna in my opinion. If you want luxeries such as fairing with music and such, then go right ahead. But for me im sticking with the dyna

Yep...I agree. I was lookin' hard at the new Street Glide, but I just can't part with my Street Bob. Maybe I'll win a lottery or find me a sugar momma and have both bikes some day.
I did the reverse. Had a bagger for years and fancied a Dyna, so got them both now. And when neither of them is quite right I can always pick the Firebolt!
I just can't see myself owning a bagger, besides we already have 2 cars so why buy a half of one? I wanted a motorcycle and the Dyna fits that bill just fine.
