ok so i found this guys number on craigslist (i keep up with craigslist everyday to search for deals), and he had some lightly wrecked and rebuilt harleys for sale and alot of parts etc.. so i called him up and went to his shop and talked with him for awhile and he had alot of stuff im interested in and they seem like amazing prices. he had several set of brand new mid-usa apehangers there and they really seem like high quality bars.
i have a couple questions though. has anyone had any experience with these bars or this brand? fit and finish issues? etc...? any info would be appreciated.
also has anyone ran v-twin manufacturing forward controls? any issues? this guy had a shop FULL of used nice parts and alot of new stuff, and he is open to trades as well so it will help me out for sure. just thought id ask you guys if you had any experience with these two brands first before i pulled the trigger
A lot of VTwin stuff is Chinese. I did have a set of the VTwin billet forwards on my 82 FXRS and I have to say the quality of that set was excellent. I don't know where those are made, however.
