Wide glide lower/forward seats...
Hi folks,
This has probably been asked on here before...
But, I have a 2002 WideGlide, and the seat height is a bit high and the forwards are a bit too far away for comfort.
Is there a seat that will drop me an inch or two, and move me forward at the same time?
Needs to be fairly comfortable as i do a fair few miles? and either a dual seat or a pillion pad option please.
can't be the only person that has these problems, and apart from shorter shocks to drop the bike, this is the only thing I can think of...
Its a great bike, if I could only get comfortable on it!

Try a Reach Seat from Harley, but I can't vouch for the comfort. Another thought is to find an auto upoholstery shop near you and take them the stock seat, or a stock take-off seat off of E-bay and have them customize it to your liking. It shouldn't be that hard to do and would likely be less costly than a whole new seat.

Dglide, Thats a good idea to have the standard seat re-profiled.
Can even do it myself, as I did one on a V-max a while back and that was ok...
Now where did the wife hide the electric carving knife this time....

Thanks gents.. very helpful as always..
I have just bought a Corbin Gunslinger from the USA eBay. ( stupid prices in the Uk for Corbin stuff!)..
Corbin reckons that will drop me down an inch or so from stock and that'll do me!!
