2005 Dyna Battery Box
I have a friends 2005 Super Glide in my garage for the winter. I was going to charge the battery for him but I can't figure out how to remove the cover. It looks like the top will slide out but I am not sure and don't want to break anything. I hate to ask such a simple question but I thought I would ask first this time rather then tear something up and have to replace it before I know how it works. Thanks for any help.

1. Remove the seat. 2. Looking at the box, immediately to the left is a bolt that screws into the frame, remove that bolt. #. Above the bolt is a bolt that screws up, as you are loosening that bolt the box may have to be "thumped" by your hand to loosen it, as the bolt comes out the battery box should drop down. Install is reversed. The battery top cover goes on before the box is moved up.
