Not very interesting really, but I know how we like pictures. I had to buy a new throttle assembly since removing my stock hand controls. I think the cheapo throttles kinda look like junk, although this one probably shouldn't cost as much as it does. ($60) It's made by Jay Brake and is machined out of aluminium, the best I can tell. Got it through Jireh, the black anodized piece was on backorder, so I settled for this one. It's polished, not chromed. It seems to be a real Quality piece and it should do fine. I went with the single cable version to tidy things up a little more. I think it looks pretty slick with the late model skinny grips. (I trimmed the lip that goes inside the stock controls off of the left grip.) Anyway, what the hell, here's some pics.
By the way, the bars still need to be narrowed. I'll get them cut down pretty soon. I also need to get busy on the levers and perches. Need to take a grinder to the fillets and sharp edges and maybe polish 'em up.
Nice piece, I went to single cable as well but with the Ness piece, also changed over to a threaded cable so it doesn't flop around anymore.
Much cleaner look.
haha as soon as i hit "submit reply" i was like "oooohhh ****...with some of the people on this forum you can't even make a joke...maybe that was in bad taste"
punk...how much more narrow are you going with the bars?

I don't have an exact measurement yet, gotta sit on the bike and take a look. It doesn't look like it now that the stock controls are gone, but the bars are already fairly narrow. It's just a stock Night Train bar/riser setup for now. It could be as much as 2" from each side, but I don't know. The levers aren't in their permanent spots, just on there for reference kinda. Once I get them set in place I can get a good measurement and get-to-da-choppinnnn' (weak Ahhhnold impression). Messing with these bars too much is kind of a waste of time anyway. I already know what I'm going to replace them with but I've been spending quite a bit lately. Also, not sure how I'm going to justify a $200 set of custom made bars to my wife when I only paid $25 for the bars that are on it!
