Default Stock Tapers

Call me what you like, but I kinda like the looks of the tapered mufflers on my Dyna (2009 FXDC). I would like a little better sound. Is there any way to modify the stock mufflers, say cut out the baffles or some such trick that anyone knows of?

Some members have drilled the baffle, which will change the sound. Not sure if you can remove the muffler and push the baffle out the back. Not something I've done.
