Default A better set of levers

I'm shopping for my wide glide for some chrome levers and I don't know if I should get the HD stock chrome or is there something else that's better.
what do you think??

May not be the review you are looking for, but I got a cheap set off ebay for about $25.00. They have been on the bike about two years now and have held up fine.

I got some black ones from Drag Specialties for $25, they have chrome ones for $36, great fit and quality. I think the Harley ones were over $100.

When I first bought my bike 2.5 years ago, one of the very first purchases I was going to make was to buy new levers because the original owner of 6 months either over filled or over tightned the master cylinder cap and so dot 4 leaked down the master cylinder, bubbling the paint. So I thought well maybe I'll go chrome and bling it up a little.
Well I bought this kit here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=320445209540

Of course at that time it was 150.00 and I installed it, complete bs chinese fn junk man. The hardware that came with it, two or three of the screws were not even tapped right, one phillips screw I stripped out because the threads were so loaded with chrome it wouldn't screw in all the way. The levers, mainly the clutch lever would never return back to a full release position, and yea I had the clutch adjusted, right, I even readjusted, plus I lubed, even lightly sanded the bushing with 1500 sandpaper, so it would kind of hang up which bugged the crap out of me. I finally afer 6 months pulled the levers off, had the powder pro powder my stock alum levers, put those one and I stripped, rebuild kit my stock master cylinder and if I get energetic enough on one of my weekend, I'm gonna pull that friggen chrome master cylinder crap off too and put my stock repainted original on. So moral of story don't buy the crap one I waisted my money on above, heck I wouldn't even resell this thing to someone on craigslist let alone on this forum.

I bought a set off ebay. Quailty unknown. They were cheap. They are just stock replacements but heres something I noticed. I was very suprised how much nicer smooth chrome levers felt to me than the stock cast ones. Don't know why, but they really felt alot better. Just sayin'.

i cut the ball off the ends of stock levers and turn them on a belt sander, then coat them... looks 100% better. either that or take your stock levers and use a drill press to add some holes or divits in them... then coat... or polish.... do not have to always spend $ to make something cool

Wow, I checked the site and they look great. What a disappointment to see this and find out you get junk ($%4&).

Good to watch out for.
thanks for your info.
