HELP! Need advice on belt change?
Anyone have any idea on the cost to change out a belt (i bought the belt) on a 93 FXR Lowrider? I have been quoted $280.00 which includes 7 hours labor plus $61.00 for HD oil and primary seal. I would attempt the job myself, but not confident working with the primary...Thanks for any advice!

Yeah, $280 is cheap, but if the bike has a lot of miles, I'd look closely at the sprockets. You may want to change them out at the same time. Also, while the inner primary is off, your better off changing all of those seals. The seals wont add much to the cost.
