On some SE slip ons yes, but pull one out and measure OD and length and call them just to be sure.

Yep, I have em on mine for an 06 dyna. The only thing I did do was cut about 3/8 inch off the length of the new bct baffle, and the only reason I did that was they were just a little I think where the holes were predrilled to attach to the slipon itself, so I didn't really want to drill two additional holes just to make it work.

i have SE IIs on my '06 WG. Simply removed the two bolts holding the baffle in, removed the baffle and inserted the BCT baffle. took me about 20 minutes, which included a can of beer and BSing with the buddies.

To what degree and in what way does the switch to BCT baffles improve the sound of the older SEII's? I think my bike sounds pretty good now, certainly better than a stock exhaust. Just curious if it really makes a difference and is something I should want to do.

I don't think there would be any difference. You have to remove the current baffle in the epa restrictive baffle (I'm guessing post 06) and remove the non restrictive epa baffle (I'm guessing pre 06), so your left with a hollow shell that you slip the new bct baffle in, so should be no difference in sound at least from the muffler. I have an 06, and I bought my seII's slip ons in 08, I put em on brand new stock and they sounded identical to the stock cigar tapered mufflers that were on the bike, like a sewing machine. So that's when I yanked the scII baffs and put in the bct. The only probably real difference would be the mounting of it, I think they change the muffler mounting around from model to model and some years too.

I mod SEII baffles by opening them up a Bit,
save the money for a new system, just take baffles out and open the front flat a bit, sound will increased.
