Ok, well after reading these responses and spending all morning researching, i went ahead and ordered the 1" lowering blocks. Figured out the reason the seat changed how her feet touch the ground was because it spread her legs out more as the seat was wider (I personnally dont have a problem with the seat doing that to her) . So if the blocks dont do the job, and it needs more, i will get a kit for the forks and lower them, and probably get a set of the 11" springs. Anyone know if they come flat black? I know you can get them vivid, but dont know if they come flat. Guess i could send them to Joe if there not.

Ask yourself "would I trust the the energy running through the chassis on "blocks" or going through shocks that attach to factory mounting points?"
The blocks are far bigger than the bolts and unless you buy one from a very crappy manufacturer that uses a very cheap alloy, they will take far more stress load than the bolts that hold your shocks to the mounts. And it's the same bolts that hold them to the blocks. There is "0" safety issue with them.

Not sure if that was directed at me about the blah blah......but if it was....my bike sure as hell aint within Harleys engineering specs as far as the chassis. Im a aviation mechanic so most things mechanically I hold to that standard.....you can do crazy **** and keep along those standards and you will end up happier in the long run. I like crazy sh*t and doing crazy things......Im a former paratrooper afterall
