Dyna Forward Controls suggestions

best and easiest may not be the same. the kuryakyn forwards do not require the trans cover to be removed, easiest. but the harley ones do look better than the kury's in my opinion... so if your trying to do this the easy way kury are a good choice. im willing to bet there other makers like the kurys that dont require the trans cover to be removed.
some people have cut those original shifter shafts out, but i dont think that would be easy.

I did the HD kit and left the shaft in until I was sure I would like them. Then I cut the shaft with a hack saw blade when I changed out the stock primary cover for a polished aluminum cover. One thing that was nice - I had the gaskets and sealing bolts when I pulled the primary for the 30T pulley change - at which time I could have pulled out the shaft too.
