I also took my 6 year old for a ride this weekend. Not far just @10 miles round trip and I never got over @35mph. She was completely enjoying it. My 10 year old son is eager to go on a longer ride with me, so may next weekend will be his turn.

Fantastic! Mine is 8 and she went for her second ride with me on Sunday. About 20 miles of local backroads. Asked me 5 times where we were heading to... Her first ride was to an IceCream place about two miles away, but being Easter, they were closed. She enjoyed it a lot but unlike daddy (me) she "needed" a destination....

My son just turned 9 and has been riding since probably he was one. Used to put him in front of me and he loved it. Now he wants to ride all over the country. I was going to sell my Fat Bob and get an Ultra for more comfort and safety for him to do some long trips but I guess it's the economy. I can't give my bike away so I got a Sundowner touring seat and looking some floor boards to make it a better touring bike. Nothing like bonding with the little ones.

Cool stuff. I plan on taking my 12 yo on a ride soon. Got her geared up when the motorcycle show was in town in January.

Well my 7 r old daughter loves the bike.
Got her a little hd jacket and helmet in 08..
When i did my front compensator,Rekluse pressure plate and 30T sprocket she was right in there helping dad..
So i'd loosin stuff off so she could take the bolts out..
She has logged more miles than the wife.
Longest run was a toy run last year. 200 miles !!
Hope i can hold onto the bond..
